Location, location, location! Les Chaumes lies at the southern edge of Vosne-Romanée, immediately below the hallowed La Tache and Aux Malconsorts. Crazy, right? Yes, and Chezeaux’s interpretation perfectly marries the exotic spice and succulent fruit of Vosne-Romanée with the mineral force of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Plush and sublimely balanced, the wine bursts with showy aromas of rose petals, exotic spices, peonies and red berries with expansive and ample mouthfeel. A ravishing beauty of which we have miniscule amounts. We don’t recommend passing on a chance to own some Burgundy magic especially at this price!
