"A fresh, cool and bright nose combines plenty of spice elements with a variety of red berry scents. The sleek and beautifully well-detailed middle weight flavors exude a subtle minerality on the tension-filled and focused finish that is moderately firm. This lacy effort is very Volnay in character and it just makes one feel like drinking it. (April, 2019)

"The 2017 Volnay Village bursts from the glass with an expressive bouquet of juicy red fruits, plums and currant leaf. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and expressive, with a juicy core of fruit and melting tannins.
