“Pale, bright yellow. Very pure aromas of pear and flowers. Dense and lightly saline, with an element of sucrosité countered by harmonious acidity. “Tasted from tank after fining, the 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Village is showing very well indeed, offering up notes of Anjou pear, lemon oil, white flowers and a subtle touch of hazelnut cream. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, elegant and bright with an ample attack that segues into a tense, controlled mid-palate and finish.
