This could be from nowhere else but Chablis with its nose of oyster shell, iodine and strong mineral reduction aromas. The concentrated, mouth coating and serious flavors are at once muscular yet refined, all wrapped in an explosively long and well-balanced finish. As good as the Montée de Tonnerre is, and it's very good, there is just a bit more overall depth present here.

Love the seashell and great minerality this displays, very focused and strait wine with mouth coating richness on a finish that just does not quit!
