Notes of black cherry, cassis, plum and earth introduce firm, dense and powerful medium-bodied flavors that exhibit even more minerality that adds lift to the balanced and impressively persistent finish where hint of mocha and warmth appear. While this muscular yet quite generously proportioned effort possesses a dense lashing of tannin, it is not especially austere and thus I expect that it will drink well young.  Burghound 92/2023+
