Notes:

The Valmur reminds me of a Batard Montrachet - its a broad wine with expansive flavors that coats the entire palate. On the finish the wine absolutely explodes on a laser like very precise finish that goes on and on.  Its about at this point you really see the size and depth of flavor on this wine.  Truly exceptional.  Vins Rare 94 Tasted 2/6/16 at Domaine

A highly restrained and distinctly cool nose features notes of green fruit and plenty of ocean shore nuances that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is excellent richness to the solidly concentrated and intense medium weight plus flavors that are at once caressing yet austere on the long and entirely serious finale. This ever-so-slightly creamy effort is first-rate with fine depth and beautiful balance and as such it could be approached after only a few years of aging  Burghound 94
