Notes:
This could be the greatest Saffredi ever, with blueberry, licorice, minerals and flowers. Rosemary, too. Full body with incredibly integrated tannins and long finish. This is a triumph... James Suckling 98
Today, the 2012 Saffredi is naturally very young. An ample and broad wine, the 2012 is all about texture at this stage. The wine's resonant, expressive personality is impossible to miss, though, and a very positive sign for what is to come.
