Notes:

Here the nose presents a completely different aromatic profile with its somber and intensely earthy dark berry fruit aromas that are liberally cut with humus and sauvage hints. There is both good volume and delineation to the more obviously mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent mid-palate concentration that buffers the firm tannic spine on the energetic, focused and impressively persistent finish. Good stuff and worth considering though this is not a good candidate for early consumption. Burghound 91 Outstanding!
