As is almost always the case this is the best of these 1ers with its complex nose of green fruit, citrus rind, sea shore and iodine scents. There is excellent concentration to the intense flavors that are at once fleshy yet delineated, all wrapped in a markedly saline-infused finish that delivers excellent length. he 2012 Chablis La Forest is incredibly reticent today. Bright citrus and floral notes abound in a layered, crystalline Chablis endowed with remarkable focus, purity and energy. I imagine the 2012 will offer a long and broad window of pure drinking pleasure once it softens in bottle. Vinous/Galloni 93-95
