Notes:

25% vendange entier; these vines were the first to be picked along with the Teurons, on September 17; only partly racked): Good dark red. Pungent aromas of black cherry and licorice. Supple but cool and dry in the mouth, with a savory quality to the black cherry and mint flavors. Very fine-grained wine with excellent length and a light touch, clearly in an early-harvest style. A majority of these vines date back to 1953. Tanzer 90-92
