Notes:
By John GilmanView From the Cellar,
(Vosne-Romane- Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg) The 2010 Vosne-Romane AC from the Mugneret sisters is a beautifully perfumed example of the vintage, jumping from the glass in a complex aromatic mlange of red and black cherries, plums, intense violets, cocoa, vanillin oak and a superb base of soil. On the palate the wine is fullish, pure and deep at the core, with a gentle sappiness, excellent focus and balance, modest tannins and lovely length and grip on the bouncy and tangy finish. Just a lovely, lovely bottle of Vosne villages. (Drink between 2016-2040)90+points

Burghound, January 2012,
(Domaines Georges Mugneret-Gibourg Vosne-Romane Villages Red) Here the nose is actually similar to that of the Bourgogne though there are two small differences in that this is a bit more refined and slightly spicier as well. There is good richness and volume to the supple and admirably refined flavors that possess a seductive mouth feel and excellent length for a villages level wine. Moreover, this is a classic Vosne and altogether lovely. (Drink starting 2016)89-91points
