Christian Moreau Chablis "Les Clos" 2010 bottle - Vins Rare
92-94 BH
92 VM
Notes:

By Allen Meadows
(Domaine Christian Moreau Père et Fils Chablis - Les Clos Grand Cru White) A highly complex and perfumed nose speaks of floral, citrus, white peach and shell fish hints that introduce rich, refined and dazzlingly pure flavors that possess a silky mouth feel and superb detail on the explosive, long and impeccably well-balanced finish. (Drink starting 2017)  92-94 points

Good bright yellow.  Subtle aromas of peach and apricot, with the smoky, flinty minerality typical of this great grand cru.  Suave, rich, broad and full, with highly concentrated but wonderfully smooth stone and citrus fruit flavors.  Perfectly combines the finesse of the Vaudesir and the power and structure of the Valmur.  The superb building finish saturates the palate with fruit, minerals and mint.  This has the balance and intensity for a leisurely evolution in bottle but is hardly austere now.  A beauty.
