Burghound(from a 4 ha parcel). Noticeable though not overt wood influence setsoff a very ripe nose composed of liqueur of plum, cassis and wild raspberry aromas. There is excellent richness to the roundand relatively powerful medium weight flavors blessed with an abundance of dry extract that buffers the otherwise very firm,long and serious finish. This is also notably austere and extremely compact at present and as such it seems reasonably clearthat it will not be a good candidate for early drinking. 93/2020+
