John Gilman's View from the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2010
The 2009 Cte de Bouguerots is another great grand cru in the making, but it is atad more reserved on both the nose and palate than the beautiful Valmur. The bouquetoffers up a stunning aromatic mlange of lime, green apple, a touch of pear, stunning, chalky minerality and a lovely floral topnote of white flowers. On the palate the wine isdeep, full-bodied, pure and absolutely rock solid at the core, with crisp acids, impeccablefocus and balance and a very, very long and youthful finish. A great wine. 2018-2045+. 96 points
This is a big step up in refinement, particularly aromatically with anabundance of oyster shell and tidal pool nuances that add breadth to thewhite flower, citrus and Chablis-style green fruit. The rich, powerful andmouth coating flavors possess real drive but also beautiful detail on theintensely mineral-driven finish that possesses outstanding length. This isreally quite dry, at least within the context of the 2009 vintage. In aword, terrific. Burghound 95
