Notes:

A very ripe, indeed even slightly surmature nose of mild reduction, mocha and menthol aromas introduces extremely rich yet reasonably delineated medium weight plus flavors that are unexpectedly cool and tension-filled on the dusty and palate staining finish. Notwithstanding the cool impression of the finish, this is riper than I like and it affects the expression of the underlying terroir.  Burghound 89-91
