Relatively strong reduction renders the nose difficult to evaluate but there is good energy to the round, generous and beautifully textured medium-bodied flavors as there is sufficient dry extract to buffer the firm acidity on the quite dry, minerally and lingering finish. This is lovely and worth a look for value, at least in the context of Roulot's wines.  Burghound 89-91 Outstanding
