Notes:
Allen Meadows' Burghound, October 2010
Like the Caillerets, this is noticeably reduced and I would suggest 20 minutes or so of aeration as the reduction is not subtle at present. As is typically the case, this is less mineral-driven than the Caillerets but compensates by more body, richness and power as well as outstanding complexity on the mouth coating and lingering finish. This is lovely and while the nose isn't yet what it should be, this will almost certainly develop in time. 92 points and Outstanding.
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Sep/Oct 2010
Pale bright yellow. Reticent but pure aromas of spices, minerals and white flowers, plus a whiff of redcurrant. Smooth and broad but tight, opening only grudgingly to show aromatic notes of violet, lavender, yellow rose and spices. This stony, solidly built wine is less refined and sexy today than the Caillerets but has a strong acid/mineral structure for aging. 92(+?) points.
