Notes:

Good medium red. Complex nose combines redcurrant, tobacco, smoke, underbrush and a whiff of marzipan. The broadest and fleshiest of these 2008s by far, with lovely sweetness leavened by terrific acidity. Medicinal black cherry and menthol flavors saturate the palate but are still holding plenty in reserve. Finishes broad and quite long, with nicely buffered tannins and very good lift.  Vinous/Steve Tanzer 92
