Allen Meadows' Burghound, October 2010
(domain wine) This would be almost impossible to miss this wine's origins as the marine influence on the pungently mineral, airy and superbly elegant nose is extremely strong with Chablis character to burn. The seductive middle weight flavors brim with dry extract, which does a perfect job of buffering the structural elements on the mouth coating and sappy finish that seems to go on and on. This is very Preuses in its Zen-like sense of harmony and is clearly very classy juice. 95 points
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, July/August 2010
Pale green-yellow color. Sexy, subtly perfumed nose offers lime and lemon zest, crushed stone and white pepper, plus a steely nuance. Sweet, supple and fine-grained; very suave and silky but still quite young, conveying a brooding impression of energy and a touch of spice. Best today on the very youthful, palate-dusting aftertaste. Compared to this bright and perfumed wine, the Bougros is almost exotic. 93+ points
John Gilman's View from the Cellar, Nov/Dec 2009
With its myriad of different exposures in the undulating slopes of this vineyard, Les Preuses is probably the most inherently complex grand cru in Chablis. All of this complexity is on display in the sizzling 2008 from Domaine William Fèvre, as the wine offers up a brilliant nose of lemon, green apple, grapefruit zest, kaleidoscopic, chalky minerality and a topnote of white flowers. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and dazzling, with great mid-palate depth, laser-like focus and snappy acids honing the nearly endless finish to a razor sharp edge. A brilliant bottle of grand cru Chablis.  95 points
