Notes:
Stephen Tanzer Int'l Wine Cellar, Nov/Dec 2006($45) Pale, green-tinged color. Pure aromas of lemon, lime, ginger and dusty stone. Juicy and penetrating, with terrific cut and thrust to the mineral and citrus flavors. Very elegant wine, at once subtle and powerful. Conveys an impression of fullness without weight. Finishes minerally, pure and long. In its combination of minerality, freshness and power, this reminded me of the superb 2002. 92 points
Allen Meadows, Burghound October 2006
An unmistakable step up on almost every dimension as this is more elegant, more refined, more sophisticated and more complex, particularly on the airy white flower fruit and menthol nose that introduces powerful, concentrated and gorgeously intense flavors that feature an explosively long finish. This has real energy to it plus grand cru caliber class. 90-93 points
