Notes:

A touch of wood spice frames moderately more elegant and certainly more expressive earth, and slightly gamy nose featuring crushed red and black pinot fruit aromas plus a trace of minerality that continues onto the rich, sweet and full-bodied flavors that are detailed and finely textured. This is really quite nicely balanced and displays virtually none of the rusticity that the appellation typically does. Impressively good juice for its level and also highly recommended.
