Notes:

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Jan/Feb 07
($39) Deep red. Fresh strawberry and cherry on the nose, with intense fresh herb tones. Fleshy and sweet, with bright red fruit flavors framed by silky tannins. Picks up an interesting mineral character with sir, and finishes with excellent verve and precision. For a "basic" wine, this is outstanding. 92 points

Dark red. Perfumed and smoky, with assertive red berry and cherry jam aromas and notes of dried rose and garrigue. Fresh and lively on the palate, showing a precise set of berry and floral flavors that are bright and sappy. Finishes brisk and racy. 90-92 points
