Reviews:
By Stephen Tanzer Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, September/October 2003, Issue #110 (Domaine Bernard Morey et Fils Chassagne Montrachet Les Embrazees) ($46) Deep, musky, nutty nose. Chewy but quite firm in the mouth, with excellent depth of flavor and plenty of incipient complexity. Very much a soil-driven wine, and very Chassagne in character. Concentrated, dense and quite long. Quite different in style from most of Morey's other 2001s in that here the aromatics don't dominate the terroir This has more stuffing and structure than a sample I tasted last year from the barrel. Built to age. 91 points
