Notes:

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Jul/Aug 03
($30) Highly aromatic nose combines white flowers, spices, licorice and lemon. Extremely young but already impressively perfumed in the mouth; its incisiveness comes more from minerality than from acidity. Another extremely young wine that offers superb length for a premier cru from this vintage. 90(+?) points

This too is quite ripe and slightly exotic with notes of orchard fruit and honey but there is no surmaturité and the flavors are pure, linear and precise with solid intensity and a lovely sense of freshness. This has the best acid/fruit balance to this point and there is very good length plus snappy acidity. A nice combination of power and finesse in what is essentially an understated style. Really a lovely effort for the vintage. Burghound 90 points
