Tasting note: Almost ink black with powerful fruit and intense flavors yet for all the size and intensity, it remains Savigny in character. Bigger and more tannic than the Gravains with solid supporting acidity and lots of extract. This is quite structured and will require all of 7 to 8 years to begin drinking well and will easily last 15. A great Savigny. Burghound Outstanding! (89-91)
