Once again there is a plethora of floral influences adding elegance to the airy aromas of citrus peel, freshly sliced apple, mineral reduction and a hint of lychee. The equally sleek and refined medium-bodied flavors exude so much salinity that there is an almost salty character to the sneaky long and saliva-inducing finish - Burghound 92 Outstanding

 

The 2019 Chablis Vaulorent 1er Cru has a light apple blossom and orange pith nose, plus touches of chamomile in the background. The palate is well balanced with good weight and a fine, citric line of acidity. This conveys plenty of tension, leading to a taut but quite persistent finish. Lots of potential here, though I envisage it drinking earlier than other cuvées.  Neal Martin 92
