Notes:
John Gilman's View from the Cellar, November/December 2010
The 2009 Monte de Tonnerre from Domaine William Fvre is excellent andreally shows off the beautiful synthesis of perfectly ripe, pure fruit, striking mineralityand snappy acids that the best wines of Chablis possess in this vintage. The nose is deep, pure and beautiful, as it offers up scents of lime zest, green apple, grapefruit, verycomplex minerality, a touch of smokiness, straw and a bit of green Chablisienne fruit inthe upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, complex and beautifullybalanced, with a lovely core of fruit, superb focus and excellent cut and grip on the longand poised finish. Just a classic example of young Monte de Tonnerre. 2013-2030+. 93+ points
