Tasting note: Brilliant ruby. An expressive, elegant and high-toned red pinot fruit nose nuanced by earth and mineral hints merges into detailed, firm and equally mineral suffused middle weight flavors that have the classic Champans reserve and touch of finishing austerity. This will require time as the tannins are fine but dense with a dusty and mouth coating quality. Lovely juice but for the patient. Burghound Outstanding 90-92
