(Philipponnat Grand Blanc Brut) ($85; disgorged April 2006) Greenish yellow. Apple, pear, floral honey and orange zest aromas offer good punch and clarity. Dry and chewy, with maturing orchard fruit flavors braced by firm but harmonious acidity. More vibrant than last year's disgorgement, displaying greater energy and finishing cut. 90 points
