I've brought you some great red Burgundy deals over the years, and this is arguably one of the very best. Ever!

I've only been able to get my hands on this wine twice in the last five years. I introduced you to it with the 2020 vintage, and it became one of our most requested Bourgogne wines. I pestered the importer every time I saw him for the next three years, until he finally sold me the 2022 vintage at the end of last year. I offered it the first week of November, and the 50cs I got were gone by Thanksgiving. At the time, I begged for more, but he told me he had to take care of some of his distributors in other states and there was nothing additional available.

Well, fast forward eight months, and he was here the other day showing me a number of new wines, which I'll be presenting in the coming weeks. As I looked over his inventory report, I spotted the 2022 Vieux Collège Bourgogne Côte d'Or. I asked, "Is that a typo? Do you really have this?" I told him without hesitating I’d take it All! It took until the next day, but he came back and confirmed 16cs. The wine is arriving Friday.

If you love drinking Burgundy on a Tuesday night without spending a fortune, this is a wine you need to own, and own in quantity! I'd suggest at least a case, if not two! I'd be surprised if this lasts until the end of the day.
