Article: Duclot Prestige Cases

Duclot Prestige Cases
Last week we had a couple of exciting cases of 1986 Mouton and Margaux, which were a complete sell-out! This week, from the same perfect cellar, I’m pleased to present three unopened Duclot Prestige Cases from the 2003, 2005, and 2008 vintages.
For those not familiar with the Duclot Prestige Case, it’s one of Bordeaux’s most respected and exclusive offerings. Established by Duclot, a historic Bordeaux négociant founded in 1886, these nine-bottle cases showcase the excellence of each vintage through a curated selection of the region’s most celebrated estates. Produced in very limited quantities, they were only offered though a small group of merchants.
My client purchased these cases upon release—one for each of his three children: 2003, 2005, and 2008. The kids are now approaching drinking age and have expressed zero interest in wine. The eldest decided he’d rather have the money, and his younger siblings quickly agreed. As a result, these cases, which were stored untouched in my client’s home cellar for nearly two decades—are now available.
The 2003 vintage features a slightly different mix, while the 2005 and 2008 cases share the same lineup. All three remain sealed and are currently in my warehouse. If owning a horizontal of Bordeaux’s finest from outstanding vintages appeals to you, these are an exceptional opportunity. One case available of each vintage—perfect condition, ready for immediate delivery.
