2023 Henri Boillot
Henri Boillot hardly needs an introduction, especially the Monopole Clos de la Mouchere. This is a benchmark White Burgundy that consistently delivers quality that puts most grand crus to shame. Last year, Burghound quoted it as the “1er cru of the vintage” and I’d be surprised if the 2023 isn’t the same. There are no reviews yet from any of the major critics, which is one of the reasons I was able to pick up this small allocation at a 15% discount from last year. I’ve only got 36 bottles at this price. If you are a buyer of this wine, I would suggest grabbing these early as the next offer is going to be in the $249 range.
