This wine exudes pure charm! Sourced from a tiny parcel (barely 1.5 acres) in Gevrey planted in 1943.Yes, smack in the middle of WWII! There are a few (15%) interplanted Chardonnay vines in the mix that contribute roundness and depth. Fermented and aged completely in stainless steel tanks, giving the wine a freshness and intensity that is pitch perfect. Focused aromas of tarragon, lemon oil and wet stone keep you swirling and sniffing. A polished mouthfeel broadens into an impressive range of flavor from oyster shell to candied ginger.
