A smoky nose offers up notes of mineral reduction, pepper, white flower and iodine along with a hint of volatile acidity. There is an appealing intensity to the well-detailed and stony flavors that culminate in a markedly dry bitter lemon-inflected finish. I like the delivery of this attractive effort though it will need to add depth over the next 2 to 3 years to merit my rating. Burghound 89
