2014 Roche De Bellene Bourgogne Chardonnay VV

I must taste well over 100 wines every month. I'd say of those 100, maybe 1-2 make it into the store.  There are great wines at every price point, you just have to taste a lot of Dogs before you find those hidden treasures.  Well last week I came across one such wine - 2014 Maison Roche De Bellene Bourgogne Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes.  First of all,  it is from arguably one of the greatest White Burgundy vintages we have seen in the last 20 years.  It possesses that energy and freshness with a lemon/lime/minerality profile that makes these wines so appealing, at least to my palate.  I'm always looking for wines I can serve at home that I can actually drink more than one glass.  The second thing it has going for it is it is made by a very talented wine maker, Nicolas Potel.  If I was offering this wine today at $24.99 you would taste it and say, wow that is really nice.  At $16.99 you will taste it and say this is one of the Best White Wine Deals I've had in a while.  If you entertain at all or just drink Chardonnay on a regular basis this is one you are going to want at least a case of if not two!  I'll go one step further with this one and put my money where my mouth is.  If you are not 150% satisfied with this wine after tasting it I'll pay to have it shipped back and credit you for the bottle you have opened - Its that Good!  Don't think about it too long as I only have 25cs available.
