The la Dominode is also produced from Louis Jadot’s own vines and it is excellent in 2010. The bouquet jumps from the glass in a blaze of cassis, dark berries, espresso, a brilliant base of minerality, gamebirds, woodsmoke and fresh herb tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very, very transparent, with a sappy core of fruit, firm, ripe tannins, lovely focus and nascent complexity and a long, minerally finish that closes with a note of herbacité that will be very intriguing when the wine reaches its apogee. A fine, fine bottle of Dominode. (Drink between 2018-2050) 92+ points John Gilman View from the Cellar
