2022 Chevillon Nuits St Georges 1er Perrieres

Here too there is just enough wood present to point out on the more sauvage-inflected aromas of earth and violet along with a similar touch of poached plum. The velvety and palate coating medium-bodied flavors possess both good power and an almost pungent minerality on the youthfully austere, compact and quite serious finish that is built for the long haul. This is also excellent but not well that it's not going to drink especially well young.  Burghound 92-94

The 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Perrières shows both the warmth of the vintage and the rockiness of this terroir. Offering up aromas of rich dark fruits and plum preserve, it's medium to full-bodied, rich and concentrated, with a sun-kissed core of fruit that's underpinned by lively acids and chalky tannin.  William Kelley 90-92
