A wonderfully fresh nose is composed by red and dark currant, spice, violet and once again plenty of earth and game nuances. The medium weight plus flavors are slightly finer yet as is virtually always the case with a typical Millandes, there is excellent power to the mineral-inflected finish that goes on and on. This is quite firmly structured and is definitely going to require most of a decade before it will arrive at a point where the tannins have softened sufficiently to be enjoyed plus it should continue to improve for another 5-ish years after that. Burghound 91-93
