This is also aromatically cool and restrained with its overtly citrus-suffused aromas of ripe white orchard fruit, iodine and ocean breeze. There is borderline painful intensity to the dense, sappy and markedly stony flavors that conclude in a strikingly long, moderately dry and well-balanced finale. This is packed with potential and should prove to be especially long-lived. This beauty is first-rate Séchet. Burghound 94
The 2021 Chablis Les Sechets ler Cru is still obdurate and timid on the nose, tightly coiled and very pure, hints of orange blossom reluctantly emerging. The palate is very well balanced with a saline attack, taut and fresh, lovely and poised with a malic finish that needs more persistence to develop. Give it time. Neal Martin 92
