DESCRIPTION

A ripe yet notably cooler nose reflects notes of purple fruit, cassis, poached plum and warm earth. The is fine size, weight and mid-palate density to the larger-scaled flavors that terminate in a youthfully austere and almost aggressively mineral-driven finish. This firmly structured effort is almost always the domaine's best 1er and in 2020, it appears to have no real competition.  Burghound 91-93 Outstanding!
