2019 Droin, Jean Paul et Benoit Chablis 1er Vaillons

An interesting and relatively broad-ranging nose includes notes of white pepper, iodine, quinine and pretty floral scents. The plump, round and fleshy flavors possess a beguiling texture but not the same intensity and particularly so on the borderline fat finish. To be clear, this is by no means heavy or lacking vibrancy, but it seems clear that it should be drunk on the earlier side compared to many of these 1ers.  Burghound 89
