A spicier array is composed by notes of red cherry, raspberry and nuances of freshly turned earth. The fleshy, round and sappy medium weight flavors possess a lovely mid-palate texture before culminating in an ever-so-mildly dry finish that comes up just a bit short. This however may very well improve the balance as it's possible that the dryness is more due to the recent bottling than underripe tannins. Burghound 87
