An exceptionally pretty nose is composed by notes of red cherry, raspberry, floral and discreet sandalwood nuances. There is terrific underlying tension to the racy, precise and refined middle weight flavors that exhibit a subtle minerality on the ever-so-mildly austere finale. This is much more classic Chambolle in comparison to the Beaux Bruns but note that there is a firm tannic spine and this will require cellaring. Burghound 90-93
