The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny Village is a blend of around 25 parcels that cover the entire appellation. Matured in one-third new oak, it offers broody dark berry, wild strawberry fruit on the straightforward bouquet. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry. This is nicely focused with fine but firm tannins, just a touch of dryness on the austere finish, but hopefully it will develop more flesh throughout the first 12 months in bottle.
