Here the expressive nose is quite similar to that of the Clos du Meix though with perhaps just a bit more layering. There is a bit more volume and body to the succulent but admirably intense flavors that also exude plenty of minerality that adds a bit of lift to the beautifully persistent and firm finish. This is going to need at least a few years of bottle age first and should amply repay mid-term cellaring. Worth considering Burghound 89-92
