DESCRIPTION

The 2012 Barolo Bric del Fiasc is embryonic at this stage. In two tastings so far, the 2012 has comes across as relatively light by this wine's standards, while the site specific signatures that are so typical never seem to develop. It will be interesting to see if the 2012 Bric del Fiasc gains depth in bottle. Today, it is a bit of a mystery.  Vinous/Galloni 91

Tasted in May 2016 at Domaine.  Great Aromatics with excellent depth and flavors.  Notes of black cherry leather and spice on a very long lingering finish.  Needs a few years in the cellar.  Another strong effort.  Vins Rare 92+
