Christian Bourmault

Christian Bourmault is a grower Champagne estate based in the Marne Valley, farming vines with a strong commitment to organic viticulture. The domaine has quietly built a reputation for expressive, character-driven Champagnes that reflect their vineyards and patients élevage in cask, with minimal intervention in the cellar.

Hermance is the estate's signature cuvée, a blend of 80% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Meunier from estate vineyards. The wine is aged for 36 months in cask, allowing the components to integrate slowly and develop depth and texture. The result is a Champagne with real presence-layered, vinous and precise, showing ripe orchard fruit, subtle spice and a refined, mineral finish.
