A pretty mid purple. The fruit is less evident on the nose than in the Santenay. There is a fine intensity of dark red fruit up front, with both acidity and tannin at the finish. The red Chassagne is in a slightly extractive style, but it works. Drink from 2026-2030. Tasted: October 2023. Jasper Morris 89-91
