2022 Antonin Guyon Corton Charlemagne

A broad-ranging nose reluctantly offers up its aromas of spice, mineral reduction, green apple and citrus rind. There is both excellent volume and punch to the larger-bodied and more powerful flavors that possess a caressing mid-palate that contrasts with the youthfully austere, serious and compact finale. This saliva-inducing effort is also excellent and while it should easily repay up to a decade of keeping, it could be reasonably approached after only 4 to 5 years.  Burghound 94
