2020 Rollin Pernand Vergelesses Blanc "Les Cloux"

In bottle. 15% new wood. Pale lemon with a fine green streak through the middle. Quite restrained nose. Very clean, clear cut white fruit, with power but also a sense of elegance, the texture is velvety and slightly more nuanced than the village Pernand. Enough acidity, supple and long. There is a faint touch of cinnamon from the barrel. Vigorous mid yellow, starts discreetly but the nose builds, classic Pernand albeit with good volume. Jasper Morris 90
